  ► P e r s o n a l i t y

    ▷ When you first meet Lillian, she may be seen as someone very ladylike because of how prim and proper she is. But once you start talking to her, you will find her to be very upbeat and friendly. When mingling with other people, she loves to listen to their stories and can sometimes be quite the chatterbox. There are also a few moments where she show some signs of her sassiness. Other than that, she can be seen as a selfless and patient person because she deeply cares about other people and will do everything she can for them. She will go above and beyond to help them. So, you can say nursing was the perfect job for her. 

    ▷The thing with Lillian though, is that she hides the insecure, stubborn and dishonest person she truly is. Sometimes when people become close to her, she tries to push them away by lying to them. She is a person who isn’t only dishonest with others, but also herself. She uses self-deception to shield herself from all pain and other feelings (love, anger, etc.) that may cause her trouble. As an emotionally fragile person, this is seen as something unhealthy, because this makes her bottle up all her feelings. When the bottle becomes full and she can’t handle it anymore, she will have an emotional outburst that may cause her to say things that may sound insensitive and harsh.


► H i s t o r y
    
    ▷Lillian Swann was born as the youngest daughter in the Swann Family. She lived in a town by the ocean with her two older sisters, grandmother, father, and mother. The “Swann’s” were well known in their town because they were known as the family that had the longest generation of nurses in their family. Many of the townspeople knew them because not only were they impressed with how long they held the family tradition, but the "Swann's" were very kind people. But although this family tradition had been around for a long time, Lillian’s older sisters didn’t want to work in the medical field because they wanted to pursue the career that they wanted. Her eldest sister wanted to become a businesswoman and her second eldest sister wanted to be an artist. So while the two sisters steered away from studying to be in the medical field, Lillian worked hard in school to become a nurse because she was very passionate about it and she wanted to keep the family tradition.
    
    ▷Working hard in school finally paid off for Lillian for she had the opportunity to go to a decent school for nursing. While attending school, she ran into one of her childhood friends (and crush) and discovered that he was studying to be a pediatrician. After that meeting, the two began to see each other more and became close friends. They began dating after realizing that they held certain feelings towards one another. Lillian and her significant other made a promise to each other to finish school before getting married, and that was it. They dated for six years before getting engaged. It seemed like everything was going to go as planned, until, the wedding day. The two were about to say their vows, but he stopped the ceremony and said, “I’m sorry” then left her at the altar.
    
     ▷Heartbroken Lillian isolated herself in her room after that because she was ashamed that she had been so foolish to love that man for so many years. She stayed in her room crying for the first few months but after that, she laid in bed without any motivation to do anything. This made her family extremely worried about the her because the state she was . Her family wanted to do something to help her forget about that terrible day. The only problem was that they didn’t know exactly what to do. They found the solution to their problem when they received the mail one morning. Lillian’s parents then went to her room to tell how concern they were about her and told her their idea to start fresh in a new town to help forget about the past. She was skeptical about the idea at first, but her grandmother helped convinced her to go. After packing her things, she gave her goodbyes to her family then headed for the train station. When the train arrived, she took a deep breath and took a step in the train.</sup>

        ▹ She is someone who is very formal. Her friends back in her hometown would comment how she is too formal because she would still address a person as "Ms." or "Mr.", even when the person tells her to call them by his or her first name. 
        ▹ She still wears her engagement ring and will lie when you ask questions about it.
        ▹ She REALLY loves ducks that she often spends most of her free time by the lake, feeding ducks or just relaxing by them.
        ▹ She collects different kinds of buttons. She holds them in mason jars. (She keeps the special ones where they hold memories in a special jar. She likes things that hold sentimental value.)
        ▹ Boys would always pull her hair when she was in elementary school, so she always kept her hair short. She hasn't changed it ever since.
